The merger between Hearn Construction of Vacaville and James Nolan Construction of St. Helena has been finalized

Merger complete

The planned merger between Hearn Construction of Vacaville and James Nolan Construction of St. Helena has been finalized and a holding company established to provide administrative services and support to both entities.

The two companies and their principals have long shared common philosophies and ideals, officials said.

The merger is designed to build an even stronger construction organization and to maximize the talents and expertise of both organizations, said Fred Hearn in a written statement. Although both firms will retain their own names, culture and identities, their ability to share resources, equipment and capital will enable them to meet the needs of a rapidly growing construction market in Napa and Solano counties and beyond, Hearn said.

Napa Pacific Inc. is the holding company for both organizations and Hearn will serve as the president and CEO of the company. Gordon Stankowski will remain president of Hearn Construction and James Nolan will continue as president of James Nolan Construction.

For more information, call Hearn at 446-3761.
